Tredunnock

Tredunnock ( _cy. Tredynog) is a small village in Monmouthshire, south east Wales, in the United Kingdom.

Location

Tredunnock is located four miles northeast of Caerleon and four miles south of Usk.

History & Amenities

The River Usk passes close by just below the village in the Vale of Usk [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/120773] . The Wentwood escarpment lies across the river. Historical Caerleon and Usk are within easy reach by car. The church of St. Andrew contains a Roman tablet dedicated by the wife of a soldier of the Second Augustan Legion, the Legio II Augusta.
