His uncle Syed Iftakhar ul Hassan Shah almaroof Zahray Shah is a well known Pakistani politician (a Member of National Assembly of Pakistan in 1998)Fact|date=December 2007. His other uncle Syed Hasnat ul Hassan Shah is Chairman of District Sialkot.Fact|date=December 2007

Religious career

He showed great concern when the caricatures mocking the Prophet Muhammad were published in newspapers around Europe. At present he is leader of the Allo Mahar Sharif religious family. He delivers lectures in different parts of the world. He delivers a main speech related to the topics of Wliullha (friends of Allah) every year on March 23 every year because it is day of celebration of services of his ancestors. A lot of peoples from different psrts of world join him at this moment.
