Kathleen Howard

Kathleen Howard (27 July 1884-15 April 1956) was a former opera singer and magazine editor who played character roles in US films from the mid-1930s through the 1940s. She was born in Clifton, Ontario, Canada and died in Hollywood, California, USA.

Trivia

While filming "Ball of Fire" in 1941, she was hospitalized by Barbara Stanwyck when Stanwyck delivered a mock punch and accidentally hit Howard in the face and fractured her jaw. Stanwyck was reportedly mortified by the incident.
