Indur ( _ar. إندور) was a Palestinian village, located 10.5 kilometres southeast of Nazareth. It is thought to have been the site of the ancient Canaanite city of Endor ( _ar. عين دور). In 1945, the village had a population of 620 inhabitants and a land area of 12,444 dunams.

History

In Ottoman era Palestine, an elementary school was founded in Indur, but was closed during the British Mandate in Palestine. Sheikh Tawfiq Ibrahim, one of the leaders of the 1936-1939 Arab revolt in Palestine was from Indur.

The village was captured by Israel's Golani Brigade from its defendants, the local militia and the Arab Liberation Army on May 24 1948. The town was completely abandoned.cite web|title=Welcome to Indur|publisher=Palestine remembered|accessdate=2007-12-12|url=http://www.palestineremembered.com/Nazareth/Indur/index.html]

Today

During the 2004 commemorations of Nakba Day held by Palestinian Arab citizens of Israel, the annual right of return march led to Indur.cite journal|title=Annual Return MArch in the Galilee|publisher=Badil|volume=Issue No. 22|date=June 2004|url=http://www.badil.org/al-majdal/2004/majdal22.pdf|pages=8] Jewish Israelis joined in the march and the event received coverage by Israeli cable and Arab satellite TV stations. Endor's former residents and their descendents number a few thousand from among the tens of thousands of internally displaced Palestinians within Israel today.
