The Southern Railway of British Columbia (AAR reporting marks SRY) is a Canadian short line railway operating in the southwestern mainland of British Columbia. The main facility is the port at Annacis Island with major import of cars, export of forestry producs, as well as other shipments. The railway has interconnections with three Class I railroads, including Canadian Pacific, Canadian National and BNSF. It operates a fleet of 23 locomotives and 2,000 cars. History

The railway was formerly owned by Crown corporation BC Hydro and was known as the BC Hydro Railway until being sold to the Itel Rail Group 1988 and renamed to Southern Railway of British Columbia, it was later bought by the Washington Group in 1994 keeping the SRY name. It was originally built as the British Columbia Electric Railway (BCER)
