"Bubble Trouble" is the 151st short subject starring American slapstick comedy team the Three Stooges. The trio made a total of 190 shorts for Columbia Pictures between 1934 and 1959.

* "Bubble Trouble" is a reworking of 1947's "All Gummed Up", using ample recycled footage from the original. The new footage was filmed on October 13, 1952, nearly one year before the film's release.cite book

*Critics and fans alike have observed that this film has a significantly better plot structure than the original, "All Gummed Up". In the original, the climax actually takes place about four minutes before the end of the film, leaving space for a bubble gum cake scene. In this film, however, the bubble gum cake scene comes before the climax of the film. Both the original and the remake were directed by Jules White.
