Sergei Bodrov ( _ru. Сергей Бодрóв; pronEng|sɪrˈgjeɪ bəˈdrɔf; born June 28, 1948) is an Academy Award nominated Russian filmmaker, writer, producer and director.

Bodrov was born in Khabarovsk, Russian SFSR, USSR (now Russia). He had a son named Sergei Bodrov Jr. who was killed in an avalanche in the mountains of the North Caucasus on September 20, 2002.

Bodrov currently has an apartment in Los Angeles and a ranch in Arizona. He is married to American film consultant Carolyn Cavallaro.
