Recycling initiative

An extensive Recycling project is due to start at the College within the near future. A launch day for this new emphasis on recycling is due to be held in the near future although as of now, no date has been confirmed"'

"Teenage Wasteland": College Newspaper

The first edition of the College newspaper - entitled Teenage Wasteland [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teenage_Wasteland] after a line in The Who [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_who] song Baba O'Riley [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teenage_Wasteland] was released on the 26th February 2008. The irreverent and satirical nature of the newspaper did not go down too well with some of the staff but students seemed to support the newspaper. This publication is student run (with all costs covered by the editors), but positive immediate responses indicate that the College itself is to pay for future issues.

Also a large musical concert is currently being planned as the main event for the leaving higher year of Bexhill College in the summer.
