The Roa–Hønefoss Line ( _no. Roa–Hønefossbanen) is a 32 kilometer railway line between Roa and Hønefoss in Norway, connecting to the Bergen Line and the Randsfjord Line at Hønefoss and the Gjøvik Line at Roa. The line is single track and electrified and allows freight trains between Oslo and Bergen access to the Bergen Line via the Gjøvik Line.

The line goes from Roa via Jevnaker in Hadeland, Oppland along the east side of the river Randselva down towards Viul, Hval and Hønefoss in Ringerike, Buskerud.

History

The line was opened as part of the Bergen Line in 1909, and until the opening of Oslo Central Station and the Oslo Tunnel in 1980 that passenger traffic went via Drammen on the Randsfjord Line and the Drammen Line to Oslo. There were also previously local train services on the line, but they have also been terminated. It was renamed from "Roa–Hønefosslinjen" to "Roa–Hønefossbanen" on 6 January 2008.
