"The Best of the Payola$" is a greatest hits album by the Payola$, released in 2002 through Universal Music Canada. Apart from omitting "Romance" and "In a Place Like This," "The Best of the Payola$" includes all of the same tracks as the 1987 Payola$ compilation, "". In addition, the 2002 compilation includes the Rock and Hyde track "Dirty Water" from "Under the Volcano". Strangely, the liner notes attribute "I'll Find Another (Who Can Do it Right)" to an "R.Newman." The track has been credited to Bob Rock and Paul Hyde on every other release of the song. The R.Newman attribution is possibly a clerical mistake, as the liner notes also make a glaring error in the chronology of Payola$ albums, placing the 1981 album "In a Place Like This" in 1984.
