Adrian Hope, 4th Marquess of Linlithgow

Adrian John Charles Hope (born 1 July 1946), 4th Marquess of Linlithgow, is a British aristocrat. His family seat is Hopetoun House, near Edinburgh, Scotland.

Family

Lord Linlithgow is the son of Charles William Frederick Hope, 3rd Marquess of Linlithgow (1912–1987), and Vivien Kenyon-Slater (1918–1964).

Personal life

In 1968, the then Lord Hopetoun, aged 22, married Anne Pamela Leveson, granddaughter of Admiral Sir Arthur Cavenagh Leveson. They had two children:
*Andrew Victor (b. 22 May 1969). In 1993, aged 24, he married Skye Laurette Bovill. She grew up in the town surrounding Hopetoun House. They have one son:
**Charles Adrian Bristow Hope, Viscount Aithrie (b. 2001)
*Lord Alexander Hope (b. 1971)In 1978, Lord and Lady Hopetoun divorced. She subsequently married William Sackville, 11th Earl de la Warr.

In 1981, Lord Hopetoun married Peta Binding. They have two children:
*Lady Louisa Civienne (b. 1981)
*Lord Robin Charles Robin Adrian (b. 1984) In 1997, Lord Linlithgow married for a third time. This time, it was to Auriol Veronica, Lady Ropner (née Mackeson-Sandbach), ex-wife of Sir John Ropner, 2nd Baronet. They have no children.
