Nuffield Press

Nuffield Press is a former part of the UK's automotive manufacturer Nuffield Organisation / BMC The Nuffield Press Limited was placed into Administration on 27 June 2011. The company had been founded in 1925 by William Morris, later Lord Nuffield, as The Morris Oxford Press, at the former military college in Cowley to produce the periodical Morris Owner. It was later bought by Robert Maxwell but sold in 2000 to a management buy out. At it's peak the Nuffield Press used more than 1,000 tons of paper a year producing literature, manuals, magazines, diaries and posters. At the time the company went into receivership around 67 people were employed and had a turnover of £6.7 million according to Print Week magasine.
