Ben Dowdell (27 September 1988, Nowra, NSW) is an Australian basketballer currently playing for Santa Clara University, California. He was a member of the 2007 Australian U/19 Men's team who finished 5th at the 2007 World Championships recording just one loss in the tournament. He is the brother of current Perth Wildcats forward Jeff Dowdell. Dowdell is regarded by many writers as one of Australian Basketball's brightest talents [http://www.aussiebasketball.com/award-result2007-men.php] , and has been named in several All Star and Merit teams.
