John Bunyan Upper School is an upper school located in the Kingsbrook area of Bedford, Bedfordshire, England. The school is named after John Bunyan, a famous Bedfordian who wrote "The Pilgrim's Progress.

The school's catchment area covers Kingsbrook, Cauldwell and Newnham, Bedford as well as the village of Elstow. Middle schools which fall in to John Bunyan School's catchment area include Abbey Middle School and Harrowden Middle School.

The school is situated next to the Bunyan Centre which is a sports centre for the local community. Both the school and the sports centre share certain sports facilities. The Bunyan Centre has been selected as an official training site for the London 2012 Olympics. The venue is expected to attract fencers, wrestlers and judo players training for the event. The proposed Academy will specialise in Science and Technology and it is hoped new buildings will be open by September 2012. The aim is to have the new buildings ready for occupation by September 2012.
