Dupeni (Macedonian: Дупени) is a village in the Resen municipality of Macedonia. The village is located right on Prespa Lake and has a very nice beach. Dupeni is divided into two mahalas, Dolno Dupeni and Gorno Dupeni ('Lower Dupeni' and 'Upper Dupeni').

People

Gorno Dupeni and Dolno Dupeni combined have around 294 inhabitants.^[1] All of them are Macedonians, they all speak Macedonian and are Macedonian Orthodox.

Dupeni in popular culture

The popular Macedonian show, Progrešno Vreme, is set in and also takes place in the village of Dupeni.
