Rajendralal Mitra

Rajendralal Mitra (1823/24-1891) was the first modern Indologist of Indian origin, and was a key figure in the Bengal Renaissance. [http://search.com.bd/banglapedia/HT/M_0277.htm] He was the author of "Antiquities of Orissa" (1872).
