Maidstone Barracks railway station is one of three railway stations which serve Maidstone in Kent. It is on the Medway Valley Line, and train services are provided by Southeastern.

The station has been unstaffed since Sept 1989, and the booking office on the Strood-bound platform subsequently demolished. A PERTIS (permit to travel) passenger-operated self-service ticket machine was installed on the Strood-bound platform in 2007/08.

Service

The typical off-peak service from the station is two trains per hour to Maidstone West, of which one train per hour is extended to Paddock Wood and Tonbridge, and two trains an hour to Strood. Connections to London are available from either Strood or Paddock Wood, or from Maidstone East, a short walk away.
