Controversies

  • June 14, 2009: during a Lega Nord meeting in Pontida, he has been filmed while singing a song with the following lyrics (bare, literal translation from Italian): "Oh what a bad smell, even the dogs run away: Neapolitans are coming! Oh cholera transporters, oh earthquake victims... you've never used soap to wash yourselves" that is a well known soccer song among the Italian hooligans but it is a clearly racist and discriminating song.
