British Columbia Southern Interior (formerly known as Southern Interior) is a federal electoral district in the province of British Columbia, Canada, that has been represented in the Canadian House of Commons since 2004.

History

This electoral district was created as "Southern Interior" in 2003 from Kootenay—Boundary—Okanagan and part of Okanagan—Coquihalla riding.

In 2004, its name was changed to "British Columbia Southern Interior".

Members of Parliament

* 2003-2006: Jim Gouk - Conservative - He previously represented Kootenay—Boundary—Okanagan, West Kootenay—Okanagan and Kootenay West—Revelstoke.
* 2006-present: Alex Atamanenko, New Democratic Party

Current Member of Parliament

Its current Member of Parliament (MP) is Alex Atamanenko. He was first elected in 2006. He represents the New Democratic Party.
