The Case Concearning Maritime Delimitation between the Republic of Peru and the Republic of Chile, also called Peru v. Chile will be a process in the International Court of Justice to put an end to their controversies over the delimitation of their sea border in the Pacific Ocean. While Peru argues that the sea border should run on a southwestern direction from their land border, Chile claims that on bilateral treaties signed in 1952 and 1954 Peru recognized that it runs on a western direction.
