Background
According to Loveless: "... My first reaction was that I wasn't for sure that this song was for me because it had a lot more male-oriented type lyrics in it. Rather than the high heels or hairdos, it was more boxing and football and those kind of things. I just didn't think they would believe me when I was talking about sports, so we had Gary Burr change some of the lyrics and it ended up being a little bit better for me. So, when we went into the studio and started having fun with it, and the way the record turned out, I couldn't help but like the tune after it was finished...."
