1 Kroon

The Estonian 1 Kroon bill (1 EEK) is a denomination of the Estonian currency [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estonian_kroon Estonian currency] . Kristjan Raud, who was an Estonian painter, teacher and cultural historian (1865-1943), is featured with a portrait on the front side of the bill. The 1 Kroon bill is called sometimes an "ühene" meaning a one.

A view of Toompea Castle in Tallinn is featured on the reverse side of the bill. The 1 Kroon bill has been removed steadily from the currency circulation over the last 7 years. However the 1 Kroon banknote is still a legal payment bill, but it is on a very rare occasion one can find it on an everyday basis.
