McGregor, Ontario

McGregor, Ontario is the name of a small village along Walker Road (Essex County Road 11), just north of CR 10. The community is in the town of Amherstburg, Ontario, formerly part of Anderdon Township. The community is around 3000 in size and is named for William McGregor.

It is the current location of CBET 9's television transmitter/broadcast tower, having been moved from downtown Windsor, Ontario in 2002 to improve reception in Leamington, Kingsville, and Pelee Island. This broadcast tower also broadcasts the analog and digital signals for CBEFT-TV and CICO-TV-32.
