Jagtar Singh Hawara, is a Sikh Militant belonging to the Babbar Khalsa. He belongs to Hawara village in Fatehgarh Sahib. His father died in 1991. His mother's name is Narinder Kaur. He has had a main role in the assassination of the Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh. He is also responsible for killing a granthi (Sikh priest) of Muktsar at the age of 15, because he claimed the granthi forced upon Sikh girls.
