Taryn Fiebig

Taryn Fiebig (born 1 February 1972) is an Australian opera and musical theatre soprano and cellist.

Taryn Fiebig initially graduated as a cellist from university of Australia, before commencing vocal training, occasionally marrying the two on stage, with her cello accompanying her own singing.

She joined Opera Australia in 2005 under the Young Artist Development Program.

In 2006-07, she was Mabel in Opera Australia production of "The Pirates of Penzance", alongside Anthony Warlow (the Pirate King), David Hobson (Frederic), John Bolton-Wood (Major-General Stanley) and Suzanne Johnston (Ruth).In 2008, she will sing the role of Eliza Doolittle in the national tour of My Fair Lady.
