Casey Rose Wilson (born October 24, 1980 in Alexandria, Virginia) is an American actress, comedienne and screenwriter who joined the cast of "Saturday Night Live" as a featured performer in February 2008.

Career

Prior to joining "SNL", Wilson was a performer at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCBT) in Los Angeles and New York. At UCBT, her work included the long-running "Rode Hard and Put Away Wet" sketch comedy show, written and performed with her writing partner and best friend June Raphael. The show was also seen on HBO's US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado. Personal life

Wilson was born in Alexandria, Virginia, along with her brother Fletcher Todd, an engineer. She is a graduate of T. C. Williams High School, NYU Tisch School of the Arts and studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Her father, Paul O. Wilson, is a political consultant and runs campaigns for moderate Republicans.

Her late mother, Kathy Wilson, was chair of the National Women's Political Caucus, and attended her last Republican National Convention in 1980, while pregnant with Casey.
