Zagar Mengal

Zagar (Balochi: ذگرمینگل ) is one of the two main branches of Mengal tribe. Zagar Mengals live in northwest and central parts Baluchistan mainly Nushki, Daak, Chagai, Kalat and Dasht-e-Goran. Zagar Mengals also live in Helmand, Kandahar and Nimroz provinces of Afghanistan. Sardar Changez Khan Mengal is the chief of Zagar Mengal.
There are two sub-clans of Zagar Mengal: Badin and Nozai.

Badin

Badin Mengals are further divided in following sub-branches.

1. Amir Zai
2. Ahmed Zai
3. Baajay Zai
4. Dashthak Zai
5. Trasi Zai

Nozai

Nozai Mengals are divided in following sub-branches.

1. Baran zai
2. Dahi Zai
3. Mandai
4. Mehmood zai
5. Muhammad Zai
6. Paend Zai
7. Ahmedari
