Southease railway station is a railway station half a mile east of the village of Southease, East Sussex, England. It is on the Seaford Branch of the East Coastway Line. The station is surrounded by agricultural land. The South Downs Way crosses the Seaford Branch here.

History

The station was opened as "Southease and Rodmell Halt" on 1 September 1906, named after two nearby villages in the Ouse Valley: Southease, ½ mile to the west, and the slightly larger Rodmell, more than a mile away. Infrastructure

The station is unmanned and has two platforms. There is a level crossing immediately north of the station leading to Itford Farm and the A26. The crossing is crossable by anyone, even though the gates are closed by default. There is also a footbridge over the line.

Services from the station are provided by Southern.

The typical off-peak service is:
* 1tph (trains per hour) to Brighton
* 1tph to SeafordFurther services pass through non-stop
