Elland railway station

Elland Railway Station served the town of Elland in West Yorkshire, England until 1962.

Plans to re-open the station in 2000 (at the same time as Brighouse Station) were cancelled due to lack of funds.

However plans to open a station are still ongoing but the construction is uncertain despite a housing developer offering to develop a station as condition of gaining planning permission for a nearby housing development.
