Ed Wilson is President of Chicago based Tribune Broadcasting. Tribune Broadcasting owns and operates 23 Television stations and WGN radio in Chicago.

History

Wilson began with Fox Broadcasting Company in 2004 as President of the Fox Television Network. Wilson left Fox in February 2008 to join Tribune.

Wilson served as President of NBC Enterprises, which he joined in 2000. He left in 2004 to become President of Fox Television.

Before NBC Enterprises, Wilson was President and CEO of CBS Enterprises and Eyemark Entertainment. Overseeing syndication of shows “Everybody Loves Raymond,” “Touched By An Angel” and “Martha Stewart Living” among others.

In 1994 Wilson founded MaXaM Entertainment in partnership with A.H. Belo Corp. The company was sold in January 1996 to CBS.

Prior to MaXaM, Wilson was a senior executive with Columbia TriStar Television Distribution.

Wilson's early career began in Arkansas as sales Manager with KATV.

Personal

Born and raised in Rison, Arkansas, Wilson holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from University of Arkansas. While attending school he was an active member of the second largest male organization in the United States (behind Boy Scouts of America) the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He is married has two children, his daughter is a student at Boston College, and a son, Royce Wilson, who attends Southern Methodist University and was elected the 2008-2009 President of Sigma Alpha Epsilon.
