Boundaries

The constituency covers the towns of Sleaford and North Hykeham and an area of rural Lincolnshire. The constituency's boundaries roughly correspond to those of North Kesteven local government district.

In June 2008, the constituency Labour party announced that its candidate for the next general election will be James Normington.
