The 2008 Boston College Eagles football will represent Boston College during the 2008 college football season. The team's Head Coach is Jeff Jagodzinski, who will begin his second season as the Eagles' head coach with an 11-3 overall record, and a 6-2 conference record at B.C. Boston College has been a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference's (ACC) Atlantic Division since joining the league in 2005, after leaving the Big East Conference. The Eagles will play their home games in 2008 at Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, which has been B.C. football's "home" stadium since 1957.

Boston College will have to cope with the loss of star quarterback Matt Ryan, who was drafted 3rd overall in the 2008 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons. Senior quarterback Chris Crane is assumed to take over the starting quarterback position. Other big losses from the 2007 season include tailback L.V. Witworth and running back Andre Callender. True freshman Josh Haden is assumed to be the starting runningback. The defensive stars returning to the Eagles include senior defensive lineman B.J. Raji and linebacker Brian Toal. The offensive stars that return include 1st team All-ACC Tight End Ryan Purvis.
