Herman Le Compte

Herman Le Compte (Aalst, April 26, 1929 - Knokke, January 3, 2008) was a Belgian physician and gerontologist.

Biography

Known across his native Flanders as the "Vitamin Doctor," Le Compte became famous during the 1960s with a series of books and TV shows dedicated to health and aging. His claims led to his expulsion from the Belgian medical association.

Le Compte died in his sleep of a heart attack on January 3, 2008, in Knokke, Belgium.
