Dulwich and West Norwood is a parliamentary constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first-past-the-post system of election.

Boundaries

The current boundaries take in the southern parts of Southwark but more of Lambeth.

Tessa Jowell has represented the constituency since its creation in 1997.

Dulwich College is a local landmark.

West Norwood Cemetery.

Boundary review

Following their review of parliamentary representation in South London, the 2007 Boundary Commission for England modified this constituency by moving the northern boundary to encompass more of Brixton and the eastern boundary to lose the wards of Peckham Rye and South Camberwell.

The electoral wards used in the creation of this seat are:

• From the London Borough of Lambeth: Coldharbour, Gipsy Hill, Herne Hill, Knight’s Hill, Thurlow Park.
• From the London Borough of Southwark: College, East Dulwich, Village.

Members of Parliament

The constituency was created in 1997 from parts of the former seats of Dulwich & Norwood. It has been represented since its creation by former Secretary of State for Culture, Tessa Jowell.
