Ownership

In March 2007, Lyon Broadcasters Inc. made a deal to buy KSVL from Donegal Inc.cite news |work=Northern Nevada Business Weekly |title=Lyon’s only broadcaster acquired |date=2007-03-26 |url=http://www.nnbw.biz/ArticleRead.aspx?storyID=8534 |quote=] James Foss, Lyon Broadcasters’ president, told the "Northern Nevada Business Weekly" that he planned to add local news and a talk show hosted by a local personality to the station's automated alternative rock format.

Construction permit

On December 10, 2007, the station was granted a construction permit by the FCC to relocate its transmitter slightly northwest to 38°41'09"N, 119°11'15"W. This would result in a minor lowering of the transmitter's height above average terrain to 629 meters (2065 feet). This permit expires on December 10, 2010.
