The River Twymyn ("Afon Twymyn" in Welsh) is a river in Powys, Mid Wales.

The River Twymyn flows from the 130 feet (40 m.) high Ffrwd Fawr Waterfall at the head of the Pennant Valley near Dylife, through Llanbrynmair and joins the River Dyfi upstream of Cemmaes Road
