University Catholic Center (Austin, Texas)

The University Catholic Center is a Roman Catholic Campus Ministry Center located in Austin, TX dedicated to serving the students at The University of Texas at Austin. The Newman Club, the predecessor to the University Catholic Center, was founded in 1908 by the Paulist Fathers at St. Austin's Parish. In 1965, the University Catholic Center opened at the corner of 21st and University, south of the Littlefield Fountain. The building was completely gutted and reconstructed, opening in 2002.

Some notable student organizations include the Lambda Omega Alpha men's fraternity, the Mu Epsilon Theta sorority, the STRONG youth retreat team, Catholic Longhorns for Life and many more.
