University of South Florida in 2003. McDonald began his professional career in France at Chalon-sur-Saône. In 2004, he moved to Spain, where he has played ever since. His first club in Spain was Gran Canaria, where he spent the 2004-05 season. From there, he moved to Estudiantes for two seasons, and for the 2007-08 season went to TAU Cerámica.References
