David P. Rible (born August 28, 1967) is an American Republican Party politician, who has served in the New Jersey General Assembly since January 8, 2008, where he represents the 11th legislative district.

Prior to his election to the Assembly, Rible served on the Wall Township Planning Board from 2000-07.[1]

Rible serves in the Assembly as the Republican Whip and serves in the Assembly on Telecommunications and Utilities Committee and the Law and Public Safety Committee.[1]

Rible attended Brookdale Community College majoring in Criminal Justice and Seton Hall University, also majoring in Criminal Justice. He is a Certified Forensic Locksmith.[1] Rible is a resident of Wall Township, New Jersey.

When Rible was 31 years old he retired from the Wall Township Police Department due to a back injury that left him "totally and permanently disabled" and qualified him for an enhanced pension of $54,000 in addition to his salary as a legislator. A News 12 New Jersey investigation in 2010 found that Rible rehabilitates regularly at a gym and runs in road races. The state pension board notified Rible that he may be subject to annual medical exams to confirm that he is still disabled.[2]
