Raced over a distance of 1⅛ miles on Polytrack synthetic dirt, the Woodbine Oaks is currently sponsored by Budweiser and offers a purse of $500,000.

First run at 11/16 miles, since 1959 the distance has been set at 1⅛ miles. Originally called the Canadian Oaks, in 2001 it was changed to the Labatt Woodbine Oaks.
