At a young age, Jon Kasiya was recruited as an assassin for the Sisterhood of the Wasp, who were planning to take revenge on their archenemy Anya (Araña). Jon was trained in many fighting arts, including
kung fu and other forms of martial arts. Jon adopted the codename Amun, and began to fight his enemy Anya with his recruiters. He was soon transferred to Anya's high school, where her best friend Lynn developed a crush on him. Anya and Jon realized who the other was, and Jon began threatening Anya and her family, until Anya saved him during a massacre. Jon promised to not fight her unless ordered to, and the two then became allies. Secretly, Jon highly respects and is fascinated with Araña.Powers and abilities
Amun can run up to 160 mph using the power of rewi. He can to some extent cast spells, has extraordinary aim and agility, and is adept at martial arts and hiding in the shadows. He wields sharpened metal ankhs, which he can throw as fast as bullets.
