Jamie Thomas (comedian)

Jamie Thomas (born June 24, 1976 as Thomas G. Hallford Jr. in Dothan, Alabama) is an American stand-up comedian and writer. Thomas is the son of two mentally handicap parents, and has two siblings who are also mentally handicapped.Fact|date=April 2008 He was emancipated from his parents at the age of 16. He is currently on tour performing his unique style of comedy in clubs and rooms throughout the US. He appeared on "The Howard Stern Show" March 5, 2008 where he spoke of his travels on the road with his family and what it was like growing up with mentally retarded parents and siblings. [ [http://www.howardstern.com/rundown.hs?d=1204693200 Howardstern.com] ] Thomas has opened for comedians Artie Lange, Greg Fitzsimmons, Eddie Brill etc. He was on tour throughout 2007 with Family over Riches hip hop artist Thousand Bars.

Military career

Jamie was in the U.S Air Force for six years. He served three years as a bomb technician and three years as an aerial surveillance technician. He attained the rank of Staff Sergeant before receiving an honorable discharge.
