Annick Massis

Annick Massis (born 1958) is a French soprano.

Biography

She worked as a school teacher before going to study at the Conservatoire Francis Poulenc in Paris. Her stage career began in Toulouse in the early 1990s, where she performed in operas by Mozart as well as playing the role of Leila in Bizet's "The Pearl Fishers".

In 1999, she took the lead in "Lucia di Lammermoor" in Toulouse as well as in Barcelona the next year. She has also sung many bel canto roles. In 2004 she played Violetta in "La Traviata" in Pittsburgh.
