Robin Aitken

Robin Aitken

Robin Aitken is a former BBC journalist. He was educated at Bristol University and joined the BBC in 1978, working initially on Radio Brighton and eventually finishing his BBC career on the Today programme.

Having left the BBC in 2005 after more than 25 years of service, Aitken published "Can We Trust the BBC?" (Continuum Press) in February 2007, in which he asserted that the BBC is guilty of an "unconscious, institutionalised Leftism".
