Hugh Annesley (police officer)

Sir Hugh Norman Annesley (born 22 June 1939) is a retired Northern Irish police officer. He served as Chief Constable of the Royal Ulster Constabulary from June 1989 to November 1996.

HE was born and educated in Dublin attending Avoca School for Boys in Blackrock, Dublin, before joining the Metropolitan Police, London, in 1958.
