William Pugh

William Pugh

:"For the 17th century Welsh poet whose name is sometimes anglicised to 'William Pugh', see Gwilym Puw."William Pugh (Bill Pugh) is the inventor of the skip list and co-author of the static code analysis tool FindBugs, and was highly influential in the development of the current memory model of the Java language.

He is currently a professor of computer science at the University of Maryland, College Park.
