Glandyfi is a small hamlet (place) in the county of Ceredigion in Wales on the A487 trunk road from Machynlleth to Aberystwyth. Glandyfi Castle, built in 1810, is located nearby [ [http://www.telegraph.co.uk/property/main.jhtml?xml=/property/2007/05/12/pcastle112.xml/ Castle for keeps; telegraph.co.uk; 10 March 2008] ] close to the site of Aberdyfi Castle which dates back to 1156.
