Classified Ventures, LLC, is a Delaware limited liability company, based in Chicago, owned by a strategic joint-venture of five large media companies -- A. H. Belo, Gannett Company, Inc., The McClatchy Company, Tribune Company and The Washington Post Company[1] -- to capitalize on the revenue growth in the online classified advertising categories of automotive, apartments and real estate. Websites include Cars.com, ApartmentHomeLiving.com, Apartments.com, HomeGain.com and HomeFinder.com.

In 2010, Classified Ventures was recognized as one of the “2010 Hottest Companies in the Midwest” by Lead411.[2]
