style = |Altitude 25 is the name given to an under construction project to construct Croydon's tallest skyscraper on Fairfield Road in the
London Borough of Croydon ,London . The development is intended to regenerate a brownfield site just three minutes' walk fromEast Croydon station . It's part of theCroydon Vision 2020 regeneration project for a new generation of buildings in the town.The prices of the apartments are currently ranging from £165,000 to £1,250,000 for one to three bedrooms. With the support of the town planners, the focus of the design is a 25 storey elliptical tower. This structure is proposed to create a new urban landmark within the centre of Croydon. Devereux have been appointed as lead consultant and architect by Howard Holdings plc, having previously designed residential schemes, most recently in
Guildford ,Surrey for the same client. The site is adjacent to a large hotel, Croydon Park Hotel, and it is intended that there will be some shared recreational facilities accessible to all residents. Altitude 25 is located in East Croydon, close to
Croydon town centre and has various transport links nearby.East Croydon station , the main railway station in the borough, is also close by. The station provides mainline services from Southern, Southeastern,First Capital Connect andCrossCountry , formerlyVirgin Trains . These train operating companies provide services to the South Coast,Bedford ,Manchester ,Luton and Luton Airport, Gatwick Airport, and fast services toLondon Victoria andLondon Bridge . There are also tram services from East Croydon eastbound to New Addington, Elmers End and Beckenham. It is also the closestTramlink stop for westbound services. From here there are trams toWimbledon station on route 3 for connections to theLondon Underground , and on route 1 and 2 services terminate atWest Croydon station for trains to Sutton and slow trains toCentral London as well asLondon Overground services from 2010. There is also a bus station at West Croydon with buses on the northbound corridor and the rest of the borough.See also
