Sefton is a railway station on the Inner West railway line of the CityRail network. It serves the Sydney suburb of Sefton, a mostly residential area.The station has a simple island platform.

Freight trains currently share the passenger tracks, which causes timetable limitations, but a freight-only track called the Southern Sydney Freight Line is to be built in 2007 to separate freight and passenger trains.
